Bridging The Employability Skills Gap
After years of research and firsthand experience, we’ve developed a government-approved program that can help you win this unwinnable situation. In partnership with educational institutions around the world, our Work Integrated Learning program can be delivered as part of your formal education and count towards your degree.
Our Work Integrated Learning program offers digital skills online training, in addition to a professional internship placement with one of our vetted host companies. This approach gives you hands-on experience, builds your professional network, and facilitates your first important step into employment. It empowers you to expand your skill sets, referees, and career horizons.
How do we know this? We have successfully placed over 7,000 interns since our start in 2016. Out of the students and graduates who have completed an internship with us, half of them go on to work in their industry of choice within four months of finishing their internship.
How You Will Benefit:

- Build your foundational skills through Outcome Academy and our online training.
- Receive ongoing, personalised support from our team, including full compliance and insurance coverage.
- Self-select your own internship and interview with any host companies you’re interested in.
- Keep track of your daily tasks and learnings with our Internship Logbook App.
- We support remote internships as well as on-site internships to give you access to even more opportunities.
- Half of all our student alumni go on to work in the field they’re interested in.
Process
Apply to join the Work Integrated Learning program with your current educational institution. If they are not listed, we can still help you through our Work Readiness Program.
Once you’re accepted into the program, you can attend our virtual orientation and get free access to a selection of premium Outcome Academy online courses and training. This includes our nationally recognised statement of attainment online course – BSBIND201 Work Effectively in a Business Environment (RTO: 45564).
Our team will match you with a host company and internship opportunity suited to your needs and interests.
We are the only global internship placement team who empower you to self-select your own internship. You can interview with any matched internships you’re interested in.
If your interview goes well, you can accept an internship offer with the host company you’d like to work with to get started on your professional journey.
Intern with your host company with support and regular check-ins from our helpful team.
At the end of your internship, you may be hired, referred, or recommended for an official role. Half of all our intern alumni go on to work in the field they’re interested in.
